The issue concerns 13 brands, of which the Coop carries two. The plant codes, product codes (Marco only), and best-buy dates of the recalled products are listed below:

  • Marco (all pints): Plant code 2465 – Product codes between 2405149 to 2405150 – Best buy dates 11/28/25 to 11/29/25
  • Dolcezza Gelato (all pints): Plant code 2465 – Best buy dates between 05/20/24 to 06/20/25

Reason for Recall: Per the recall notice on the FDA page, “Totally Cool, Inc. […] is recalling multiple brands of ice cream products, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported to date.”

Was the product in the Coop when the recall was issued?

Yes, 63 pieces were in the Coop and removed from the shelf and from backstock upon discovery.

What do members need to provide in the form of proof of purchase to receive a refund?

Product with one of the above-affected plant codes, product codes (for Marco brand only), and best-buy dates.

Per the recall notice, from Yogi: “As part of a recent annual audit, a raw material sample of Echinacea tested above the acceptable limit for multiple pesticides. While there is no health or safety risk, the ingredient’s quality does not align with our product standards, packaging statements, or company values.”
